The Ascended Masters

This is an evening talk given on June 18, 1997.  It is roughly 90 minutes long.  Each track is roughly 20 minutes.

The Ascended Masters are spiritually enlightened beings who were at one time incarnated humans like us.  They may also choose to come back and incarnate again in order to help us.

From wikipedia: A “Chohan” (Lord) of a “Ray” is an Ascended Master who has been placed in charge of one of the 12 “Rays” (until recently, 7 Rays were generally known, and 5 Rays were “secret”), due to having an extraordinary natural spiritual affinity for that Ray. A “Ray” is a concentrated stream of spiritual energy emanating, ultimately, from the Godhead. Each “Ray” is the embodiment/expression of one of the 12 great God-Qualities, such as Divine Will, Divine Wisdom, Divine Love, etc. The “Chohans (Lords) of the Rays” thus constitute a special grouping of Ascended Masters (Sixth Level Initiates).

Introducing the first 5 Rays:

  1. El Morya – Master of the first ray of the will of God; He was Melchior, one of the wise men. 
  2. Kathumi (Kathumi is now a world teacher.  The master of the second ray is now Lord Lanto.)
  3. Serapis Bey – Master of the fourth ray of purity, the white fire ray. Kundalini.
  4. Paul the Venetian – Master of the third ray of divine love.
  5. Hilarion – Master of the green ray of healing and truth. He was the Apostle Paul.

Part 3

The remaining 2 Rays:

  1. Jesus (Jesus is now a world teacher. Lady Master Nada is now the Master of the 6th Ray). Ray of mystics, devotion, and idealism.  Working to unify the religions.

  2. St. Germaine – Master of the seventh ray of magic and sacred ritual. Sponsor of the Unites States.  Works to bring in energy of higher rays (8-12).

Part 4

Lord Maitreya holds the office of the Earthly Christ in the Great White Brotherhood.  Kathumi will take over when Lord Maitreya moves on.

Sanat Kumara presides over all of the work being done for Earth and humanity.

Sathya Sai Baba is an Indian guru who is reported to be able to materialize vibhuti (holy ash) among other things.
